Anti-Bullying Policy

At Pennine, everyone in our school community has the right to feel valued, safe, and protected from harm, including bullying. Our staff work closely with pupils to build a positive, welcoming environment that they are proud to contribute to.

Our pupils and staff come from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. Many pupils have different needs, strengths, and diagnoses. These differences offer important opportunities to develop awareness, promote understanding, and challenge misconceptions or discrimination. Throughout our curriculum, we teach and uphold the British Values of tolerance, respect, equality, and diversity. Any incidents of bullying are taken seriously and acted upon immediately by staff.

Pennine is a ‘telling school’ where pupils, parents, carers, and staff are encouraged to speak up about any concerns. Bullying has no place here, and we are both proactive and sensitive in addressing it whenever it arises.

For further information, please refer to our Anti-Bullying Policy, which is reflected in our school ethos, conduct, culture, and curriculum.
